Charlie Allen, 85

    AVOCA -- Charlie LeRoy Allen, 85, Avoca, died April 20 at his home.
    A private family funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 24 at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca with burial in the Graceland Cemetery at Avoca.  Public visitation was held Thursday, April 23 from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home.  Per CDC regulations, 10 visitors or less at a time.
    Allen is survived by his wife, Laura (Andersen) Allen of Avoca; daughters Janet (Dick) Dorsey of Anita and Barbara (Gail) Goodner of Carroll; son Wayne (Kelly) Allen of Avoca; sister Pat (Bob) Rodenburg of Omaha, NE; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
