Bruce Leuschen, 59

    STORY CITY - Bruce Leuschen, 59, DVM, Story City, died Friday, April 14, 2017, at his home. Funeral services were Wed., April 19, at Grace United Methodist Church.  He was born in Harlan to William and Mildred (Schwery) Leuschen, grew up on a farm in the Portsmouth/Panama area and graduated from Woodbine High School.
    He is survived by his wife, Kelly, Story City; daughter, Jessica (Jonathan) Bolton, Niceville, FL; two sons, Jordan (Hannah) Leuschen, Waterloo, and  Jackson Leuschen, Cedar Rapids; five brothers, Ron (Evelyn) Leuschen, Antioch, CA, Dennis (Elizabeth) Leuschen, Rolla, MO, William (Linda) Leuschen, Silvis, IL, Paul (Michelle) Leuschen, Nashua, and Bennett (Lana) Leuschen, Council Bluffs; six sisters, Sue (Dean) Hager, Shawnee, KS, Patricia (John) Hruska, Omaha, Annette (Peter) Dunlop, Woodbine, Faye (Richard) French, Randolph, Carol (Mike) Robertson, La Vista, and Betty (Cary) Saar, Treynor.
    Soderstrum Funeral Home, Story City, was in charge of arrangements.
