FIRE DESTROYS GARAGE

CORLEY -- High winds made fighting a garage fire more difficult, but firefighters were able to knock down the blaze fairly quickly Thursday afternoon, Nov. 19 before it had a chance to spread to neighboring residences.
    The garage/workshop located at 104 3rd St. E in Corley, the Thomas and Therese Jacobs residence, was listed as a total loss.  The contents inside the building also was lost and included tools, a skid loader, lawn mowers, scooters, etc.  A jeep and pickup were able to be moved out of the building before the fire expanded.
