City of Harlan seeks grant for outdoor movie screen

    HARLAN -- Public support is needed through resident voting for a project that, if funded, will pay for a movie screen that can be utilized in the community.
    The Movie in the Park project is a team effort between the city and Harlan Community Schools.  The groups are seeking a $6,900 grant from The Wellmark Foundation, to purchase a movie screen that would allow for the playing of movies at Pioneer Park or within the schools.
