Branstad selects Christensen as district court judge

    HARLAN – Iowa Gov. Terry E. Branstad has appointed Harlan’s Susan Christensen as judge serving the 4th Judicial District.
    Christensen, 53, was appointed to fill the vacancy created by the Honorable Timothy O’Grady.
    Christensen currently serves as a District Associate Judge in the 4th District, having served in the capacity for eight years.
    Prior to her appointment as district associate judge, Christensen was in private practice for 16 years.  Branstad announced the appointment last Wednesday, Nov. 4.
