Doran and Reinert wed in August ceremony

URBANDALE — Katelynn Doran and Adam Reinert, both of Urbandale, exchanged vows at St. Augustin Catholic Church in Des Moines Saturday, August 13, 2022. Rev. Pat Davitt officiated the double ring ceremony.
 Parents of the bride are Randall and Ann Doran of Harlan. The groom’s parents are Tim and Lisa Reinert of Glenwood.
 The bride was escorted down the aisle by her father. Katelynn wore a pearl and rhinestone hair comb with her veil belonging to her cousin, Ashley Kievits, who wore it on her own wedding day. Her  garter was made from material and lace from her mother’s wedding dress.
 Ashley Kievits, cousing of the bride, of Urbandale served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Brooke Reinert, sister-in-law of the groom, Harlan; Melissa Harrison, friend of the bride, Yukon, OK; Cheyenne Baldwin, friend of bride, Dunlap; Jenifer O’Neal, friend of bride, Yukon, OK; Taylor Nordman, friend of bride, Wichita, KS; Claire Pedigo, friend of bride, Andover, KS; and Christina Brummett, friend of bride, Wichita, KS. Bridesman was Matthew Terrana, friend of bride, Bullard, TX. Flower girl was Emersen Kievits, cousin of the bride, Urbandale.
 Serving as best men were the groom’s brothers, Alex Reinert of Miami, FL and Andrew Reinert of Harlan. Groomsmen were Randy Doran, brother of the bride, Spearfish, SD; Ryan Doran, brother of the bride, Joplin, MO; Mike Steubs, friend of groom, Edina, MN; TJ Masker, friend of groom, Ankeny; Chris Brown, friend of groom, Davenport and Matt Owen, friend of groom, Pfafftown, NC. Nephew of the groom, Brody Reinert of Harlan was ring bearer. Ushers were Seth Warren and Derek Warren, both cousins of the groom, from Glenwood.
 Cocktails, dinner, and dance followed the ceremony at the Tea Room in Des Moines. Chaz and Jeanie Kline, aunt and uncle of the bride, from Omaha, and David and Jenny Warren, aunt and uncle of the groom, from Glenwood, served as hosts and hostesses. The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Des Moines Marriott -- Windows on 7th.
  Grandparents of the couple are Rita Doran and the late Richard Doran of Harlan; Phyllis Kline and the late Charles Kline of Harlan; Waunita Reinert and the late Dwayne Reinert of Glenwood; and Dave and Janet Warren of Glenwood.
 Katelynn is a 2011 graduate of Harlan Community High School. She earned a Doctorate Degree in Pharmacy from the University of Oklahoma in 2018. She is an emergency department clinical pharmacist at MercyOne West Des Moines.
 Adam is a 2006 graduate of Glenwood Community High School. He earned dual Bachelor Degrees from in Finance and Accounting from Iowa State University in 2011. He is a senior investment accountant at Athene in West Des Moines.
 The couple honeymooned in Hawaii for 12 days and are home in Urbandale.
