Harlan Newspapers Matching Advertising Grant Program

The Harlan Newspapers is establishing an advertising grant program that will be dedicated to relief, recovery, and keeping your businesses front and center in the eyes and ears of Shelby County.

Marketing, messaging and branding for you is what we do best. Let our strength leverage yours. We’ll match your level of spending, dollar-for-dollar, through the months of May and June, and the grant could be extended depending on the severity of the Iowa’s social distancing policies in the months ahead.

How it works

Apply below at the level of spending you’re comfortable with through the end of June. We are asking local businesses commit to spending a minimum of $200 per month to be part of this advertising grant program, and they’ll receive either twice the ad space, twice the frequency or their ads at half the cost.

Grants are available from $200 up to $2,500 per month.

Advertisers are unable to use the grant program for existing contract fulfillment, previously scheduled ads or any inserts. The program includes: the Harlan Tribune, News-Advertiser & PennySaver Shopper. Some terms and conditions may apply on a case-by-case basis.
