Wolves top Lo-Ma girls in O.T.

 MANNING (Jan. 16) -- The IKM-Manning girls basketball team picked up its most impressive win of the season here Tuesday night, outscoring Logan-Magnolia 9-5 in overtime to beat the fourth-ranked (2A) Panthers 59-55.
 Avenging an early-season loss, the Wolves improved to 10-3 overall and 9-2 in the Western Iowa Conference, tying Lo-Ma (12-2, 9-2) for second place in the league standings.
 In a game featuring 15 ties and seven lead changes, Panther guard Kenzie Cunard forced overtime on a three-pointer with :35 left in regulation. Lo-Ma also struck first in O.T. with a trey, but the Wolves responded with a 7-0 run and hit 6-of-7 free throws in the extra session to hold on.
 IKM-Manning’s Shauna Reitan scored 15 of her 18 points after halftime and Kia Rasmussen also notched 18 for the Wolves, combining to make five 3-pointers.
