Wolves, Spartans combine for seven gold medals at Guthrie Center Co-Ed Invite

GUTHRIE CENTER -- The IKM-Manning and Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton track teams combined to win seven events and place 72 times in Thursday night’s Gonzales/Parrish Co-Ed Invitational at Guthrie Center.
 Panorama won the girls team title with 147 points, followed by Guthrie Center (141) and IKM-Manning (114). Exira-EHK finished sixth out of eight teams with 52 points.
 Audubon won the boys half of the meet with 168 points, the Wolves placed second with 140.5 and Guthrie Center was third with 114. The Spartans finished fifth with 60.5.
 Both IKM-Manning squads earned three gold medals and set one school record on the night.
