Wolves place in 3 events

 DES MOINES -- All in all, it was a great state meet for the IKM-Manning girls and boys track teams. The Wolves combined to qualify five events for the State Track and Field Championships last weekend and brought home Class 1-A state medals in three of the five.
 On Friday, the IKM-M girls placed seventh in the distance medley relay with a school-record time of 4:24.94. Team members included Aly Stadtlander, Gabby Cadwell, Payton Sporrer and Shyanne Sporrer. One day later, Shyanne Sporrer also placed seventh in the 800-meter run with a season-best time of 2:26.22.
