Wolves fall to Audubon in WIC finale

 MANILLA -- The IKM-Manning baseball team was held to four hits by Audubon pitcher Josh Lange Friday night (June 23) in a 6-1 home loss to the Wheelers.
 Both teams wrapped up Western Iowa Conference regular season play on the night, with IKM-M finishing seventh in the standings with a WIC record of 9-9 (10-10 overall). Audubon tied for fourth place with AHSTW, finishing at 11-7 (WIC) and 12-7 (overall).
 Alex Lingle and Grant Stracke both had a pair of singles off Lange (4-2) but that was about it as the Wheeler junior took a shutout to the sixth and finished with six strikeouts and just one walk. Jared Johnson scored the Wolves’ only run.
