AVOCA (Jan. 15) -- AHSTW held off a late rally by Tri-Center last Tuesday night to beat the Trojans 53-50 and earn a split in the regular season series.
Clayton Akers paced the Vikings with 17 points, including five 3-pointers, and also grabbed a team-high six rebounds. Joey Cunningham knocked down three treys while totaling 13 points, followed by Blake Osbahr with nine points and Sam Porter with seven points and five assists. AHSTW made 10-of-27 threes as a team.
