AVOCA -- R.J. Harris capped AHSTW’s overtime possession with a two-yard touchdown run, then intercepted a pass on Shenandoah’s first O.T. play to clinch a season-opening 13-6 Viking victory last Friday night.
AHSTW outgained the Mustangs by a substantial 302-130 margin in total offense but was unable to outscore the visitors in regulation.
Shenandoah led 6-0 at the half, scoring its only points on Jordan Miller’s 15-yard TD pass to Devon Perkins.
