Sporrer girls win three events at Early Bird meet

 LAKE CITY -- Payton and Shyanne Sporrer combined to win three running events Tuesday as the IKM-Manning track teams opened the outdoor season at the Chelsey Henkenius Early Bird Co-Ed Meet in Lake City. Team scores were not kept.
 Payton Sporrer placed first in both the 3,000-meter run (12:07.3) and the 1,500 (5:31.9), while twin sister Shyanne won the 800 in 2:42.7 and placed second in both the 400-meter dash and the 1,500. The Sporrers contributed to four school records at last year’s state meet in the 3,000 and 1,500 (Payton), 800 (Shyanne) and 4x800 relay (Payton, Shyanne, Miranda Hansen, Eliza Grabill).
