Spartan boys top CR-B

 COON RAPIDS (Nov. 27) -- The Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton boys basketball team opened the season with a 61-43 victory at Coon Rapids-Bayard Tuesday night, getting 18 points from Dakota Rold and 15 from Josh Pettepier, who knocked down three 3-pointers.
 The Spartan scoring column was rounded out by Cole Burmeister with eight points, Trey Nelson and Trever Schulz with seven each and Creighton Nelson with six.
