Monday, June 4: Exira-EHK 8, West Harrison 6
 MONDAMIN -- Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton needed all eight of its runs to hold off a persistent West Harrison team 8-6 last Monday.
 Josh Pettepier started on the mound for E-EHK and allowed five hits and three runs (one earned) in four and two-thirds innings. Cole Burmeister (1-1) earned the win in relief, surrendering three hits and three runs (two earned) in two and a third innings.
 The Spartans totaled 11 hits on the night, led by Pettepier going 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI. Anthony Kingery and Burmeister both added a single and a double, with Burmeister stealing three bases and scoring three runs.
Wednesday, June 6: CAM 11, Exira-EHK 2
 ELK HORN -- The 10th-ranked (1A) Cougars scored at least two runs in four straight innings (3rd through the 6th) and got a three-hitter from Nick Holste to beat the Spartans 11-2 Wednesday in a game called by lightning in the top of the seventh.
 Five players had two hits for CAM (9-1 overall, 6-0 Rolling Valley Conference), including Darien Burnison’s 2-for-4, five-RBI game with one double.
 Josh Pettepier (double) and Cole Madsen picked up one RBI each during the Spartans’ two-run fourth while Trey Nelson and Tyler Petersen both singled and Cole Burmeister walked twice. Petersen (1-1) took the loss, allowing seven hits and five runs (three earned) in four innings.
Thursday, June 7: Exira-EHK 3, Boyer Valley 2
 DUNLAP -- The Spartans put up three runs in the top of the first and made it stand Thursday night, improving to 2-4 in the Rolling Valley Conference (3-4 overall) with a 3-2 win at Boyer Valley.
 The pitching combination of Josh Pettepier and Cole Burmeister once again got the job done for Exira-EHK. Pettepier (1-2) worked five innings of seven-hit ball for the win, allowing two runs, walking one and striking out five. Burmeister (one walk, four Ks) notched his second save of the year with two innings of hitless relief.
 The Spartans’ three-run first included RBI from Anthony Kingery (1-for-3), Cole Madsen (1-for-4) and Tyler Petersen (2-for-3).
