Spangenberg joins KMA Sports Hall of Fame

HARLAN -- It was only fitting that Harlan Community head volleyball coach Angie Spangenberg received her latest honor on the same night that HCHS hosted Red Oak.
Prior to the Cyclones vs. Tigers match on September 27, Coach Spangenberg was officially inducted into the KMA Sports Hall of Fame, becoming the third member to join the Shenandoah radio station’s newly-formed club. Also honored earlier this fall were the 1956 Clarinda boys cross country state championship team and former Fremont-Mills football star Nate Meier. A total of 20 KMA Sports Hall of Fame inductees will be recognized throughout the 2016-17 school year.
