Sectional wrestling meets set for Saturday

 REGIONAL (Feb. 3) -- Area wrestlers from Harlan Community, AHSTW and Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton will open their bids for a state tournament berth on Saturday afternoon when sectional tournaments are held across Iowa. All meets will begin at 12:00 p.m.
 HCHS will compete in the six-team Class 2A, Sectional 8 meet at Atlantic. In Class 1A, AHSTW will compete in the seven-team Sectional 9 meet at Underwood while Exira-EHK will travel to Missouri Valley for a seven-team Sectional 2 meet.
 At each sectional, the top two place-winners from all weight classes will qualify for next Saturday’s District tournaments. Harlan will host the 2A District 4 meet, AHSTW qualifiers will advance to Oakland and Exira-EHK qualifiers will be at Guthrie Center. In addition, all first and second-place team finishers from the sectional meets will qualify for regional duals on Tuesday, February 6.
