Schueman wins 400 hurdles gold at Audubon girls meet

 AUDUBON -- AHSTW’s Jaycie Schueman won the 400-meter hurdles by more than three seconds and took second place in the 100-meter hurdles Monday night at the Audubon Girls Early Bird Invite.
 Nearly a dozen schools attended the early-season outdoor meet, which did not tabulate team scores. Logan-Magnolia led the field by winning eight events.
 Competing outside for the first time this spring, AHSTW placed in seven of 19 events overall. Schueman, after finishing behing Lo-Ma’s Kylan Straight in the 100 hurdles, easily won the 400 hurdles in 1:12.25. She also helped the Lady Vikes place second in the 4x100 relay and fifth in the sprint medley. Additional members of the 4x100 team included Konner Knop, Lexy Knop and Josie Denning.
