Scheffler leads Lady Vikes past Griswold

 GRISWOLD (Dec. 19) -- Kinsey Scheffler posted a pair of season highs with 24 points and six steals last Tuesday as the AHSTW girls used a quick start and a strong finish to win 52-30 at Griswold.
 The Lady Vikes raced out to a 17-4 lead after the first quarter and later outscored the Bulldogs 16-5 in the fourth, finishing with 15 steals and a plus-14 rebounding advantage (30-16).
 Scheffler hit four three-pointers in six attempts, shot 9-of-13 overall and was the team’s only double-digit scorer on the night.
 Morgan Eckmann added nine points and seven rebounds, Claire Denning had eight points, five boards and five assists, Claire Harris chipped in seven points and Kate Wise had four points and eight rebounds.
