Panther netters sweep Lady Vikes

 AVOCA (Sept. 26) -- The AHSTW volleyball team lost in three competitive sets vs. Logan-Magnolia here Tuesday night, falling 23-25, 21-25, 19-25 in Western Iowa Conference action.
 The Lady Vikes (11-9 overall) and Panthers (10-7) are now tied with IKM-Manning for fourth place in the WIC standings with 3-3 records going into the final three league matches.
 Kylan Straight (13 kills, .500 efficiency) and Katie Diggins (9 kills, .348, 3 ace serves) led Lo-Ma to the win on Tuesday. The Panthers finished with a team kill efficiency of just under 30 percent while serving 93.8 percent with seven aces.
 AHSTW (90.6 percent) also served seven aces as a team, led by Katie Anzalone’s 19-for-20 night and five aces. Emma Jorgensen was 8-for-9 with two aces.
 Kate Wise had a good night at the net for the Lady Vikes, attacking at a 23-for-26 clip with 10 kills and a .269 kill efficiency.
