Osborn breaks Wayne State record for TD passes

 WAYNE, NEB. -- Zach Osborn, a senior quarterback from Harlan, became the all-time leader in touchdown passes at Wayne State College in the Wildcats’ 48-10 home win over the University of Mary on September 9. Osborn completed 16 of 22 passes in the win for 293 yards and four touchdowns, bringing his career TD passes total to 78. The previous school record was 76 held by Silas Fluellen from 2006-2009.
 Since that time, Osborn has added six TD passes in two games to bring his career total to 84. For the season, Osborn has completed 86 of 134 passes for 1,188 yards, 12 TDs and three interceptions. Sam Wegner, a former IKM-Manning standout, has six receptions for 181 yards and two scores.
 Zach is the son of Mitch and Nancy Osborn, Harlan, and a 2012 graduate of Harlan Community High School.
