Nelson tallies 29 as Spartan girls roll to 6-0

 CHURDAN (Dec. 19) -- Kealey Nelson pumped in a career-high 29 points while adding nine rebounds and seven steals last Tuesday night, leading the fifth-ranked Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton girls to an easy 82-40 win at Paton-Churdan.
 Nelson made 12-of-22 field goals and 5-of-6 free throws as the Spartans improved to 6-0 (all Rolling Valley Conference games) going into Saturday’s contest vs. Nodaway Valley (7-1) at Wells Fargo Arena.
 Exira-EHK racked up 28 steals against P-C, including seven each by Nelson and Sophia Peppers and five by Kamryn Waymire. Peppers added a team-high eight assists to go with nine points.
 Additional Spartan point totals included: Waymire 15, Tatum Grubbs 14, Ellie Schultes seven, Leslie Caniglia four, Jada Bowlin two and Jacey Anthofer two.
