Muhlbauer to play collegiate volleyball
MANNING -- IKM-Manning senior Rylie Muhlbauer signed a letter of intent earlier this month to play volleyball at Morningside College in Sioux City. Rylie is the daughter of Steve and Nancy Muhlbauer of Manning.
Muhlbauer was a four-year volleyball letter winner for the Wolves and earned first or second-team all-conference honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. She was named the team’s defensive player of the year twice and team MVP in 2016 when she was also a team captain. As a senior libero for IKM-Manning last fall, Muhlbauer led the team with 262 digs (2.73 per set) while serving 90.4 percent in 302 attempts with 27 aces as the Wolves finished 21-12 overall. She finished as the school record-holder with 828 career digs.
