Mo. Valley upends Vikings 24-14

 MISSOURI VALLEY -- AHSTW’s undefeated run came to an end Friday night as Missouri Valley knocked off the Vikings 24-14 in the regular season finale for both teams. The Vikings (8-1) still won the District 7 (Class 1A) title with a mark of 6-1 and will host Western Christian in a first-round playoff game this Friday (7 p.m.). Missouri Valley finished its season at 6-3 overall and 4-3 in the district.
 AHSTW's only touchdowns vs. Mo. Valley came on R.J. Harris completions of 90 yards to Brayton Tuma and 39 yards to Gage Clay. Harris finished the night 7-of-17 passing for 175 yards and was intercepted once. He also led the team with 65 rushing yards on 16 carries. Defensively, Gavyn Fischer racked up 14 total tackles, followed by Sam Peterson with 12 and Gabe Madsen and Seth Kiesel with 11 apiece. Caden Larson recovered a fumble.

    Missouri Valley's rushing attack netted 315 yards on 64 carries, led by Nathan Haynes with 170 and quarterback Skeeter Bostwick's 105 and two TDs.
