Madsen scores twice in 2-0 AHSTW win at T-C

 NEOLA (May 11) -- Gabe Madsen scored the only two goals of the match last Friday as the AHSTW boys soccer team improved to 11-1 overall with its second 2-0 win this year over Tri-Center.
 Madsen’s goals were assisted by Kyle Branan and Brayton Tuma.
 The 16th-ranked (Class 1A) Vikings attempted 14 total shots, including eight on goal, while goalie Lucas Young saved all five of T-C’s shots on goal. The Trojans fell to 8-7 overall.
 AHSTW faces Panorama in a Class 1A, Substate 7 quarterfinal game at Stuart Monday (May 21) at 5:00 p.m. With a victory, the Vikings would host either Creston or Clarke on Wednesday night at 6:30.
 The substate final is set for Saturday, May 26 (noon) at top-seeded Des Moines Christian.
