Local bowlers medal at Iowa Games

 AMES -- More than 45 bowlers participated in the Iowa Games “Bowl for the Gold” qualifying tournament held earlier this year at Cyclone Lanes. A total of 28 advanced to the district levels and 16 qualified for the July state competition held in Ames.
 Among the state qualifiers, seven bowlers won medals in their respective age divisions and are now eligible to participate in the State Games of America, which will be held in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the summer of 2017.
