Lange signs with Buena Vista

 HARLAN -- Harlan Community senior Nicole Lange has signed a letter of intent to continue her basketball career at Buena Vista University in Storm Lake. Nicole is the daughter of Mac and Tatum Lange, Harlan.
 Lange led the Cyclone girls basketball team this past season by averaging 12.4 points and 6.6 rebounds per game and was named second-team All-Hawkeye Ten Conference. Lange also led HCHS with 55 made free throws in 96 attempts and a 52.6 field goal percentage. She totaled 56 offensive boards, 83 defensive boards, 25 assists, 22 steals and six blocked shots. During her three-year varsity career, Lange scored 548 points, grabbed 303 rebounds and played on the Cyclones’ 2016 state tournament team as a sophomore.
