Lady Vikes lose a pair in WIC play

 AVOCA (June 5) -- The AHSTW softball team dropped a pair of Western Iowa Conference games earlier this week, falling to ninth-ranked (2A) Logan-Magnolia Monday night, 11-1, and losing at Audubon 14-4 on Tuesday.
 The Lady Vikes had just three hits vs. Lo-Ma, including an RBI double by Sarah Butcher. Sydney Zimmerman and Emma Jorgensen both singled.
 Audubon blew open Tuesday’s game with an eight-run fourth inning and won by the rule in five.
 Eighth-graders Madison Heiny and Natalie Hagadon had two hits each and scored a run for the Lady Vikes. Katie Anzalone hit a two-run homer and scored twice.
