Lady Vikes bow out at Nodaway Valley, 41-36

 GREENFIELD -- The AHSTW girls battled gamely but came out on the short end of a 41-36 score in Tuesday’s Class 2-A regional quarterfinal game at Nodaway Valley. Trailing by 11 points at the half, the Lady Vikes outscored the Wolverines 14-6 in the third quarter and kept it close the rest of the way, led by 15 points from Kinsey Scheffler.
 Nodaway Valley (18-4) advanced to Friday’s regional semifinals and will play at 11th-ranked Mount Ayr (20-2). AHSTW closed out the season at 8-15 overall.
