Kleins named to HCSD Booster Club Hall of Fame

 HARLAN -- Bob and Julie Klein, rural Harlan, are the 2018-2019 inductees into the Harlan Community Schools Athletic Booster Club Hall of Fame. The Kleins were recognized as this year’s hall of fame honorees at halftime of the HCHS girls’ January 26 home game against Glenwood.
 Bob and Julie have been very active booster club members over the years, serving on the booster club board of directors from 2005-2010. They are the parents of two children - Nic, a 2014 HCHS graduate, and Haley, who graduated in 2016.
 Bob and Julie still volunteer to work in the concession stand at Harlan Community athletic events and Bob works in the press box during varsity football games. In addition, Bob has served on the Shelby County Fair board, Julie has been the Shelby County Fair Queen coordinator and both have taught Sunday School at the United Methodist Church in Harlan. Julie has also served on the Shelby County Extension Council and Bob helped coach Nic’s youth football teams.
