IKM-Manning track squads finish in top four at Audubon

 AUDUBON (April 24) -- Athletes from IKM-Manning and Exira-Elk Horn-Kimballton combined to win four events and place 34 times Tuesday night at the annual Audubon Wheeler Co-Ed Relays.
 The IKM-Manning boys led the area squads by finishing third out of 11 teams with 81 points and scoring 15 times in 13 events. The IKM-M girls finished fourth with 67 points and scored 12 times in nine events.
 The Exira-EHK boys were eighth with 23 points and the Spartan girls came in 11th with three points.
 Area gold medals were earned by two individuals and two relay teams. IKM-Manning’s Payton Sporrer won the girls 400-meter hurdles while Carter Irlmeier (IKM-M) won the boys 110-meter high hurdles. Also placing first were the IKM-Manning boys’ 4x200 relay and the Exira-EHK boys’ 4x800.
