HCHS tennis boys finish 7-5 in duals

 RED OAK -- The Harlan Community boys tennis team rode a wave of momentum into postseason action following Thursday’s 8-1 dual win at Red Oak.
 Coupled with a 7-2 victory at Clarinda one week earlier, the Cyclones finished regular-season play with an overall record of 7-5 and a Hawkeye Ten mark of 5-4.
 The Cyclones’ only loss to Red Oak (6-5, 4-5 H-10) came in a tiebreaker at No. 1 singles. The remaining five singles matches were all won by HCHS in straight sets, including a 6-0, 6-0 victory by Alec Plagman. The Cyclones also won all three doubles matches decisively.
 The Clarinda dual was highlighted by 10-2 singles wins by Isaac Stitz (No. 1) and Caleb Rasmussen (No. 5), as well as a 10-1 doubles win by Stitz and Plagman.
