HCHS finishes fifth at Cardinal Relays

 CLARINDA -- Harlan Community scored 69 points and placed fifth out of eight teams in the Class 3-A division of Friday’s Clarinda Boys Cardinal Relays.
 The top four finishers were Lewis Central (153 points), Glenwood (124), Atlantic (86) and Council Bluffs Thomas Jefferson (76).
 Shenandoah won the Class 2-A team title and Nishnabotna prevailed in Class 1-A. The HCHS junior varsity finished ninth out of 18 teams in 1-A, scoring 29 points.
 The Cyclone varsity placed 14 times in 10 events on the night, highlighted by gold-medal performances from Curtis Schnack in the shot put and the medley relay team of Will Lansman, Caleb Rasmussen, Marcus Klein and Levi Preston.
