Girls Soccer: T-C blanks HCHS a second time

NEOLA -- For the second time in as many meetings, Tri-Center blanked the Harlan Community girls soccer team 3-0 in non-conference action Monday night (April 24).
Ranked ninth in Class 1-A, the 8-1 Trojans took full advantage of a strong south wind at their backs to score three first-half goals - one on a header and two open looks from the top of the 18-yard box - and held the Cyclones to just one shot on goal for the match.
T-C goals were scored by freshman Sage Schroder in the sixth minute, junior Tillie Heim (14th minute) and senior Alyssa Baatz (38th minute).
The Trojans attempted 29 total shots (21 on goal) while HCHS finished with three total shots, all taken by Kylee Hinz. Cyclone goalie Kenzie Jones totaled 18 saves.
