Earling wins Town Team Tourney

 MANILLA (Jan. 19) -- The Earling Eagles earned the championship of the Town Team Basketball Tournament last Saturday, winning two games in Irwin before defeating a team from Storm Lake 58-51 in the championship game played at Manilla.
 Members of the winning team included Brad Blum, Steven Boggess, Jason McCall, Doug Bissen, Neil Gross, Dean Mosher, Tony Kenkel and Isaiah Humphrey.
 Earling defeated Storm Lake 2 (Wiley) in the first round 67-50, then beat Spencer (Cole Strong) in the semifinals 57-51 before defeating Storm Lake 1 (JF Kennedy) in the finals.
