Cyclones fifth at Glenwood track meet

 GLENWOOD (April 23) -- Harlan Community placed 13 times in 11 events and scored 66.33 points Monday night, finishing fifth out of 15 boys teams competing at the Glenwood Co-Ed Ram Relays.
 Senior Nick Foss had another big night for HCHS, winning the long jump and placing second to Sergeant Bluff-Luton’s Jorma Schwedler in both the 100 and 200-meter dash. Foss also anchored the Cyclone 4x100 relay to second place.
 HCHS improved its season-best times in three relays, placing third in the shuttle hurdle relay (1:02.84), fifth in the 4x400 (3:35.65) and sixth in the distance medley (3:52.85).
 Sergeant Bluff-Luton, led by Schwedler and double-winner Miles Scott (3,200, 1,600), captured gold in seven events and won the meet with 141 points, followed by Atlantic (116), St. Albert (70) and Glenwood (67.83).
