The event consists of six games over two days - Saturday and Sunday, April 1-2 - with 12 all-star teams selected.

Bruck will play for the Class 4A/5A Grey squad, which consists of girls from Sioux City to Davenport. Bruck’s team will face the 4A/5A White squad Saturday at 4:00 p.m. Bruck led the Cyclones to an 11-11 record this past season, averaging 12.2 points per game and leading all of Class 4-A with 93 steals.

Rasmussen will play for the Class 1A Select squad, which also includes Julia Fleecs of Glidden-Ralston. Rasmussen’s team will face the 2A Select squad Sunday at 2:00 p.m. As a senior, Rasmussen averaged 11.2 points per game and made 50 three-pointers, helping the 24-2 Spartans reach their third consecutive state tournament and advance to the 1-A semifinals for the second time during that span.
