Boldan signs with Dordt College

HARLAN -- Harlan Community senior Eli Boldan signed a national letter of intent on February 6 to play football at Dordt College in Sioux Center.
Boldan (6’2”, 173) was part of a three-headed monster at tight end/receiver for the Cyclones last fall, leading the team with 828 receiving yards. His 36 receptions and nine touchdown catches both ranked second. Boldan also started several games at cornerback on defense, making seven total tackles and four assists. He helped return kickoffs and punts as well. Boldan was a first team All-District 9 selection at receiver for HCHS (8-3 overall) and was selected to play in the River Battle Bowl all-star game for Team Iowa last November. As a junior, Boldan caught eight passes for 162 yards and one score.
Dordt, which started its football program in 2007, finished 7-3 overall last season, including a 6-3 mark in the Great Plains Athletic Conference.
