Area Volleyball: T-C sweeps Wolves

 NEOLA (Sept. 25) -- Tri-Center served 15 aces and stayed unbeaten in Western Iowa Conference play Tuesday night with a 25-15, 25-11, 25-9 sweep of the IKM-Manning volleyball team. The seventh-ranked (2A) Trojans improved to 19-6 overall and 6-0 in the WIC. The Wolves dropped to 12-9 overall and 3-3 in league play.
 Caitlin Muhlbauer paced a balanced kill ledger for the Wolves with six, followed by Sydney Wegner with five kills, Gabby Cadwell four and Sammy Halbur three. Emily Kerkhoff tallied 11 digs and Sadie Thompson set 16 assists for IKM-Manning, which had just two ace serves.
 Emma McDonald had a big night for T-C, spiking 14 kills against just two attack errors for an efficiency of .522.
