12U Little Cyclones win state tournament

 HARLAN -- The 12U Little Cyclones baseball team from Harlan finished 19-10 this season, capped by a 6-0 state championship performance at the 12U Division II State Tournament the weekend of June 30-July 2. The team played in five tournaments overall in Omaha, Lincoln and Des Moines, also winning the Gold Division of the CIS Line Drive Select Tournament (Des Moines) in early June.
 The Cyclones totaled 59 hits in six state tournament games, outscoring the opposition 72-21 over the course of three days.
