William Meister III, 68

    MANNING -- William J. “Billy” Meister III, 68, Manning, died Wednesday, Sept. 12 at the VA Central Iowa Health Care System in Des Moines.
    Services will be held Monday, Oct. 1 at 1 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Manning with interment with military honors provided by American Legion Post #607 at the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Manning.
    Visitation with luncheon will be held at the church Oct. 1 beginning at noon.
    Meister is survived by his daughter Shannon Meister of Council Bluffs; sisters Kathy (Peter) Nash of Arizona and Connie Meister of California; numerous cousins and friends.
    Ohde Funeral Home in Manning is in charge of arrangements.
