Willard Olson, 87

    HARLAN -- Willard J. Olson, 87, Harlan, died Tuesday, March 1 in Harlan.
    Services will be held Saturday, March 5 at 10:30 a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Harlan with burial in the Harlan Cemetery.  Friends may call Friday, March 4 from 2-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-8 p.m. at the church.
    Olson is survived by his wife, Margaret Olson, of Harlan; daughters Rebecca (James) Chipman of Harlan and Kristine Olson-Harmon of Harlan; son Craig (Judith) Olson of Harlan; sister Laurine Nelson of Minneapolis, MN; brother Elmer (Shirley) Olson of Eagle Grove; grandchildren Eric (Hope) Chipman of Harlan, David (Kristi) Chipman of Big Rapids, MI, Anna Harmon of Des Moines, Jacob Harmon of Ames, Sarah Olson (fiance Bryan Lucke) of Ames, and James Olson of Ames; great-grandchildren Grant Chipman of Harlan, Will Chipman of Harlan, Jonathan Chipman of Big Rapids, Andrew Chipman of Big Rapids and Matthew Chipman of Big Rapids; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
    Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
