Roman Leuschen, 90

    WESTPHALIA -- Roman Leuschen, 90, Westphalia, died February 11 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.
    Services were held Thursday, Feb. 16 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Westphalia with burial in the St. Boniface Cemetery at Westphalia.
    Leuschen is survived by daughters Jane (William) Grote of Council Bluffs, Sue Leuschen of Houston, TX, Mary (Robert) Maley of Omaha, NE, Eileen (Keith) Schwery of Panama and Amy (Dave) Loseke of Cave Creek, AZ; sons Roger (Robin) Leuschen of Council Bluffs, Russell (girlfriend Lisa Ambrose) Leuschen of Omaha, and Ryan (Melissa) Leuschen of Panama; son-in-law Steve Hardy of Des Moines; sister Norma Schmitz of Denison; brothers-in-law Don Friedrichsen of Council Bluffs and Urban Henscheid of Harlan; sisters-in-law Jane (Leo) Rau of Omaha and Theresa Henscheid of Harlan; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan was in charge of arrangements.
