Raymond Schleimer, 78

    PANAMA -- Raymond A. Schleimer, 78, Panama, died September 25 at Bergan Mercy Medical Center.
    Services will be held Friday, Sept. 28 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s of the Assumption Church in Panama with burial in the St. Mary’s Cemetery at a later date.  A wake service was held Thursday, Sept. 27 at 7 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Center.  Family greeted friends Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at the parish center.
    Schleimer is survived by his wife, Barbara Schleimer, of Panama; sons Loren (LuAnn) Pauley of Portsmouth, Jon Pauley of Denison, Dennis (Mary) Pauley of Panama, Dale (Sharon) Pauley of Panama and Jami (Anna) Schleimer of Elk Horn; daughter Joan Armentrout of Harlan; sisters Alice Rau of Portsmouth, Marilyn Alfers of Neola and Eileen (Ken) Pauley of Panama; and 17 grandchildren.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
