Mary Jans, 85

HARLAN -- Mary “Marie” Magdalene Jans, 85, Harlan, died September 16 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.
    Services will be held Saturday, Sept. 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial in the Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery at Defiance.
    Jans is survived by sons Joe (Janice) Kramer of Harlan, Lenny (Joyce) Kramer of Surprise, AZ, and Ron (LuAnn) Kramer of Earling; daughter Karen (Rocket) Herning of Harlan; sisters Stella Hodapp of Texas, Theresa Simmons of Omaha, NE, Margie Adams of Omaha, and Armella (Germain) Reding of Bennington, NE; brothers Paul (Martha) Bissen of Harlan and Kenny (Alma) Bissen of Cedar Grove, TN; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
