HARLAN -- June E. Schaben, 62, Harlan, died Monday, June 18 in Omaha. A memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, June 26 at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Defiance with burial of ashes in the St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Defiance. Family will greet friends Tuesday from 10-11 a.m. at the church. daughter Megan (Michael) Wolfe of Omaha; siblings Steve (Karen) Schaben of Denison, Rick (Laurie) Schaben of Harlan, Randy Schaben of Carroll, Tim Schaben of Harlan, Neil (Barb) Schaben of Denison and Jeanne (Dick) Bornhoft of Irwin; granddaughter Bailey Wolfe of Omaha; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
