John Dargin, 70

    AVOCA -- John “Jay” Joseph Dargin, 70, Avoca, died January 17 at his home.
    Services were held Monday, Jan. 22 at 11 a.m. at Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Avoca with inurnment at a later date.
    Dargin is survived by son TJ (Jamie) Dargin of Oakland; daughter Jackie Dargin of Avoca; brothers Jerry (Brenda) Dargin of Minden, Dennis Dargin, and Jim (Janet) Dargin of Shelby; sister Marcelline Day of Council Bluffs; grandchild Hewitt Dargin of Oakland; and step-grandchildren Madeline Hill and Carson Hill, both of Oakland.
