John Barrett, 94

    AVOCA -- John C. Barrett, 94, Avoca, formerly of Shelby, died Friday, Feb. 9 in Harlan.
    Services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Burmeister-Johannsen Funeral Home with burial in the Shelby Cemetery.  Friends were asked to call Monday, Feb. 12 from 2-8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
    Barrett is survived by daughter Phyllis (Don) Barkhaus of Altoona; son Tim (LuAnn) Barrett of Shelby; daughter-in-law Becky Barrett of Shelby; 11 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; other relatives and friends.
