JoAnn Rose, 71

    HARLAN -- JoAnn Kathryn Rose, 71, Harlan, died January 31 at Myrtue Medical Center in Harlan.
    Services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 11 a.m. at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Harlan with burial at a later date in the Harlan Cemetery.  A wake service was held Monday, Feb. 5 at 7 p.m. at the church.  Family greeted friends Monday from 5-8 p.m. at the church.
    Rose is survived by her husband, Lonnie, of Harlan; sons David (Lori) Rose of Temecula, CA, Jesse (Heather) Rose of Council Bluffs and William (Gina) Rose of Oakland; daughter Theresa (Scott) Andersen of Harlan; brothers Donald (Susan) Gessert of Elk Horn, Darold Gessert of Harlan, Wayne Gessert of Council Bluffs, Dale (Georgia) Gessert of Heartland, WI, Randall Gessert of Harlan, Darwin (Mary) Gessert of Harlan and Dean (Deb) Gessert of Harlan; sisters Diane Derby of Harlan, Kathy (John) Kelly of Harlan, Marcia (Tom) Albertson of Harlan, Beverly (Gary) Heilig of Minden and Donna (Jeff Mayne) Gessert of Harlan; sister-in-law Mickie Gessert of Harlan; 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
    Pauley Jones Funeral Home in Harlan is in charge of arrangements.
